The Symphony of the Hills is making its season-opening concert available online beginning at 8:00 p.m. on December 3. The concert, Ode To Joy, is sold out for all its limited seating at the Cailloux Theater.

The livestream will be professionally produced, with multiple cameras and professional sound mixing. It is a one-time offering and will be available for viewing only while it is live. Access is free to the public, with donations encouraged.

The online stream can be accessed by visiting www.symphonyofthehills.org or by following the link posted here.

The musical program for Ode To Joy is a celebration of holidays around the world. It features A Christmas Festival, A Charlie Brown Christmas, Prokofiev’s Troika from Lt. Kije Suite, and Trans-Siberian Orchestra’s Christmas Eve Sarajevo 12/24. Guests will also hear Scherzo and Ode to Joy from Symphony No. 9, a tribute to the 250th anniversary of Beethoven’s birth.

Limited seating is still available for the January 9, 2021 concert–POPS The American Songbook. To keep musicians and audience safe, a reduced-size orchestra is presenting two concerts at 6:00 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. Plexiglass barriers, extra ventilation, and extra sanitizing will be in place.
